Getting the website up and running.

So I bought a website domain. The one you are currently looking at. I figure it's important to have a website up and running for when I start promoting the book. I've dabbled in websitery before, but not to this extent of trying to get a professional-looking one up and running. I am trying to keep it simple, but even that is difficult. I submitted a bid request on Thumbtack.com and the cheapest response I got was a review of my website for $750! I do plead ignorance on these matters, but that does seem excessive.

On a more positive note, I did a photo shoot this weekend for the picture I need for the back of the book. My mom and I went out to Two Jakes Photography in Brandywine, MD. Jake was a great guy and made me feel at ease. We spent an hour and took a bunch of pictures. I think I've narrowed it down to the two finalists that Jake is now working on making perfect. One of them will be on the back cover of the Kingmaker.

So the website is pretty much ready to go. I am finalizing the Kingmaker manuscript and want to get it to Black Rose Writing by the end of this week.
